About us
Après church was an idea born from one too many lattes. We are just a group of friends looking to get to know God better together. We want to explore christianity and to share that journey with anyone open and honest enough to join in. We are seeking a different expression of church, something not based on denomination, structures, or programmes. It is not constructed to meet the needs of a particular demographic or even geography but rather a shared reality of friendship with Jesus rooted and played out in everyday life.
We tend to meet in the Cafe Nero in Wokingham, UK sometime around 4pm on a Sunday to mull over ideas, chat, laugh, meet new people and drink great coffee. We like to share anything that is inspiring us to love God more or to wrestle with difficult questions on our minds. If something good emerges from that we thought it might help us to write it down here. Inspiration is for sharing so comments are welcome.
None of us has all the answers but travelling with others is more fun.
